The Palmetto Council is proud to congratulate Mr. Victor Durrah on his promotion to Senior District Executive. He will begin his new assignment on January 1, 2014. Victor has successfully served the Gaffney and Spartanburg communities to ensure a quality Scouting experience for young people. He will continue his duties in service to the Daniel Morgan District along with additional leadership responsibilities within the Palmetto Council. Victor has three years of professional service in the Boy Scouts of America.

Victor is a graduate of the University of South Carolina, Upstate and the Grass Roots Leadership Program in Spartanburg. He has completed the Professional Development Training Program hosted by the Center for Professional Development, BSA. His achievements include Journey to Excellence achievement during each year of his tenure. His is active in the local Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity, where he serves as the Community Services Chairman. Victor also serves as the youth advisor at Born Anew Church in Spartanburg.
