We have hired a part-time paraprofessional to serve the Catawba District. Mrs. Sonja Schmal will begin her duties on August 8th. She is a doctoral candidate who is looking for a part-time career that allows her to complete her studies. She is well connected to the Catawba District where she serves in a variety of volunteer roles. We look forward to her enthusiasm as we grow Scouting throughout Chester and Lancaster counties

Rocket Into Scouting (Fall Recruitment) Sign-Up
This fall the Palmetto Council will be recruiting on Saturday mornings rather than weekday evenings. The council will approach the schools as normal inviting potential Scouts to "Rocket Into Scouting." The joining meetings will allow parents to complete applications, launch a rocket with their son, and learn about local packs to join. We will have several locations to join each community. In August we will have training at Roundtable. The Rocket Into Scouting theme has been tested around the Country with much success. Please list your recruitment contact and pack information below so we can send you more details as they become available. Pack should submit this information by July 1, 2016.
Lion Pilot Update
