In 2017, 116 young men earned Scouting's highest rank, Eagle Scout.  Their project combined for over 13,552 service hours.  The projects ranged from fish habitats, prayer gardens, firefighter memorials to school upgrades and much more!

The Palmetto Council continues a tradition of excellence with a Silver Award rating for 2017. This places our council in the top 25% of councils from across the nation. We are proud of the volunteers of the Catawba District (Gold) and the York District (Silver) for the continued excellence in youth program delivery
