National Youth Leadership Training
NYLT is an intense and challenging leadership course taught by youth leaders.
Participants are assigned to a Patrol for the week and have the opportunity to serve in leadership roles such as Patrol Leader and Assistant Patrol Leader. Participants will improve their leadership skills as they have fun learning and playing together. The course is set up to represent an activity cycle in the life of a unit concluding with the outpost experience Thursday night.
NYLT benefits include:
- Participants learn leadership skills they can immediately use in their unit and which will benefit them for their lifetime.
- Crew Advisors and Scoutmasters have youth leaders who can help them ensure a “youth led” unit.
