Glendale Outdoor Leadership School (GOLS)

In February 2020, the Palmetto Council expanded its reach by acquiring GOLS, a premier outdoor space in the scenic Glendale community of Spartanburg County. Nestled next to Lawson’s Fork Creek, GOLS serves as a hub for delivering Scouting's mission to both Scout and non-Scout groups. Our facility boasts a variety of outdoor amenities, including a climbing wall, kayaks, canoes, shared community trails, and mountain bikes
GOLS is also the proud host of several leadership development programs for Palmetto Council Scouts, such as NYLT and SEALS, providing participants with unique and valuable experiences. Thanks to a generous contributions, we have made significant upgrades to the facility and are committed to ongoing improvements.
