Kings Mountain National Military Park's Junior Ranger Day will be Saturday, April 26th starting at 11:00 am. No need to register--just show up, and you'll be able to take part! Siblings are more than welcome--there is no age limit for this event. The program generally takes about 2 hours to complete. There is no fee. Youth will have the opportunity to learn about and try out some of the jobs that rangers do in the National Park Service: interpretation, museum curator, law enforcement, wildland firefighting, and living history. Participants will earn a Junior Ranger badge and Junior Ranger Day certificate. If anyone is interested or needs more information, please give me a call at 864-936-7921 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
