You have spoken, and we have listened. After several volunteers approached the Palmetto Council Camping Committee about offering Cub Scout Resident Camp, we launched a survey to gauge interest. Your voice was loud and clear:

73% of volunteers/parents thought it was important to offer a Cub Scout Resident Camp program
The majority of volunteers/parents did not think that offering Cub Scout Resident Camp would negatively affect attendance at Day Camp
68% of volunteers/parents said that offering Cub Scout Resident Camp at Camp Bob Hardin (CBH) would not cause their son to “burn out” on going to CBH

Following the survey, the Camping Committee decided to reopen our Cub Scout Resident Camp. We will offer a combined Cub/Webelos Resident Camp Session July 16-19 & July 21-24 at Camp Bob Hardin. More details on the exact program will be available in the upcoming weeks. Units can book their campsite now with Morgan Hawkins. Here is a flyer with a few of the details!
