A Scout is Reverent

A Scout is reverent toward God. He is faithful in his religious duties and respects the convictions of others in matters of custom and religion.

Grow Stronger in Faith

The programs help us explore and learn more about our faith. Each of the more than 40 religious awards has a curriculum created, administered, and awarded by the leaders of the various religious groups, but each program is recognized and supported by the Scouts BSA, allowing for the emblems to be worn on the official uniform.

Step 1 - Know the Program

  • Click here to get started. This Scouting.org resource page will provide you with program information, FAQs, a video for program coordinators and additional material to help you begin.

Step 2 - Share the Program with your Unit

Step 3 - Get Started and Earn Your Award

  • Type your religion into this search bar to access the specific information that you need to get started on earning your religious emblem award. 

  • Once you learn about your faith program, you and your parents should contact your local religious leader to get started.
