Get two great merit badges in two fun days!

Your first day with our American Canoe Association certified instructors will be your first-step toward a new life time sport! Your adventure begins on Lake Wylie with one-on-one instruction in proper paddling technique, personal safety, and group rescue techniques.

The Catawba River will be our destination for day 2 and the whitewater portion of the clinic. You’ll learn a variety of skills including; application of paddle strokes and maneuvers, how to identify and utilize river features, identification and avoidance of river hazards, and proper group travel for moving water. Finally, you’ll put your skills to the test as you paddle through two Class I rapids!
