Financial Assistance Programs

The Palmetto Council offers three financial assistance programs to help Scouts who need support to afford the costs associated with Scouting. Explore how we can support your Scouting journey and ensure every Scout has the opportunity to participate fully.

  • A council uniform closet of gently used and new uniforms, handbooks, accessories is available for Scouts in need. Please email us your need and size and we can let you know if we have the available items. If not, you can request the item from the Scout Shop with the Specific Assistance Form.

  • Scholarships are available for Scouts attending Day Camp, Resident Camp and High Adventure Bases. The deadline to apply is February 1st. Click HERE to apply and learn more!

  • Scouts can request assistance (up to 50%) for youth registration fees, district/council event registrations and for uniform items. Click HERE to complete the request form!

Boy Scout training is a valuable investment in your personal growth, skill development, and safety.
